Thrasher Magazine was created in 1981 in San Francisco, California by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson, and Fausto Vitello who owned Independent trucks. It has become the staple magazine in the skateboard industry, showcasing the worlds best skaters and bringing Skater Of The Year and King Of The road to the world.

Its iconic flame logo has helmed the magazine expand its apparel line becoming very popular with skaters and non skaters alike.
