Quasi Skateboards came around shortly after a lawsuit demanded they changed their name from "Mother". Quasi is a brand that formed not long after the sad death of Alien Workshop with Jake Johnson and Gilbert Crockett joining forces with former Alien team manager Chad Bowers. The team then expanded to include Justin Henry, Tyler Bledsoe, Josh Wilson, Al Davis, and Dick Rizzo
